CWS Chamber Shotgun Raffle

  1. You must be a U.S. legal resident and 18 years of age to purchase a ticket and win.
  2.  The chances of winning are based on the number of tickets sold.
  3. A ticket sold to an ineligible person is void and cannot be a winning ticket. No refunds will be made to ineligible purchasers, except in the sole and absolute discretion of CWSCC.
  4. The purchase price for one (1) raffle ticket is $25. All ticket sales are final, and no refunds will be paid. Tickets prizes, receipts, and any winner’s rights are non-transferable.
  5. All ticket purchases must be received and/or purchased by the contest deadline. Any orders placed after the deadline will be ineligible. CWSCC assumes no responsibility for lost, late, misdirected or non-delivered mail, email, or fax messages, or any other failure to receive orders or delivery receipts before the drawing deadline.
  6. Tickets may be purchased online at CWSRaffle.com
  7. Tickets may be purchased with a credit card.
  8. Purchaser must provide all required information to be eligible to enter and win. Incomplete, illegible, corrupted, or untimely entries are void and will be disqualified.
  9. All ticket entry purchases are final and non-refundable.
  10.  Entrant will retain the original printed raffle ticket if purchased in person. The stub will be entered into the drawing and will be retained by CWSCC. If purchased online, the ticket numbers will be emailed to the purchaser.
  11. The winner of the raffle will be determined by a random online drawing. All tickets have an equal chance to win. The announcement will take place on Monday, August 26, 2024. You do not need to be present to win. The winning raffle ticket will be posted online at cwsraffle.com and on the CWSCC Facebook page. The winner will be notified by email and phone.
  12. The drawn grand prize winner of the raffle will receive a $600 gift card from Farm & Home Supply. CWSCC specifically disclaims all expressed or implied warranties, including without limitations warranties of merchantability. CWSCC is not responsible for any losses or injuries suffered as a result of the raffle prize.
  13. Winners agree to comply with all IRS regulations regarding raffle winnings. The winner agrees to furnish CWSCC with his/her Social Security number, verify his/her identity, and sign all required IRS documents before claiming the raffle prize. CWSCC does not offer any Tax advice. Please consult a CPA if you have any tax related questions.
  14. The winner is solely responsible for payment of all federal, state, or local income, sales, or use taxes and fees based on the value of the prize. CWSCC takes no responsibility for any tax liabilities. Winners should consult a tax professional.
  15. The winner of the Cottleville Weldon Spring Chamber of Commerce Shotgun (gift card) Raffle must claim the prize within thirty (30) days of the drawing. If the winner does not claim the prize within 30 days by responding to phone or written notice by CWSCC or otherwise, the prize will be forfeited.
  16. Purchasers of the raffle tickets must legibly write their full legal name, address, e-mail and/or telephone number on each individual ticket stub. If there is more than one name on the ticket stub, the first listed name shall be the Entrant. CWSCC will have no obligation for payment or delivery of any prize to any person other than the Entrant. It is the sole responsibility of the entrant to allocate any such prize among participants in any multiple party entry.
  17. Purchasers of tickets, by participating in the raffle, release CWSCC, its Officers, volunteers, members or agents from any and all liability, loss, or claim arising out of any raffle prize, expressly waive any such claim, and agree the liability, if any of CWSCC, its Officers, volunteers, members or agents shall be limited to the ticket price paid. CWSCC makes no express or implied warranty as to the Raffle Prize.
  18. Prize is not redeemable for cash.
  19. Winners agree to allow CWSCC to publish their names and photographs on the CWSCC website, social media sites, and news releases.
  20. Any drawing may be postponed due to weather, or any state of emergency
    declared by the Mayor of Cottleville or St Charles County, The Governor of
    Missouri, or the President of the United States. IN such event, a new date, place or time for the drawing will be determined by CWSCC, which will be announced on the CWSCC website.
